Abstract
Angiogenesis is a sequence of events that is fundamental to many physiologic and pathologic processes, such as cancer, ischemic diseases, aging, and chronic inflammation. Aging is time-dependent, deteriorative functional changes leading to a progressive loss of the organism ¡¯s ability to withstand both internaj and external stresses. In the review, in order to understand the link and relationship between angiogenesis and aging, we highlight the current knowledge of 02-regulated angiogenesis and the recent findings in angiogenesis research and aging process studies.
